Need to know when you are giving me my AUR back (as you already said you were working to, so haters give it up about whether they "should"; they confirmed they will). Dust 514 is LAUNCHING may 14, obviously it's official as it was just announced at fanfest by David Reid. Why would they say dust is launching on may 14 if it wasn't? If it was not a 'commercial' launch then it would be the may 6 uprising launch, but its may 14. I hope that makes sense so it prevents future threads like this. The need for this thread is a reflection of the failure of CCP to communicate, and to continually try and double-speak around important issues. Until the magic words are confirmed, I am taking nothing for granted.
Just out of curiosity, how would you define "Dust 514 is launching May 14th, 5/14." |

CCP started the semantics battle, not me.
You just want the words "commercial release" so you can stamp your feet and point at the fine print shouting "See!?! See!?! You said 'commercial release'!"
The merc pack is already a really good deal, stop being so cheap and understand the spirit in which the deal was presented. Also, the fine print said they may have to reset characters, so I hope if they allow people a reset of Aurum, they add as a stipulation that your characters are going to be reset, too.
Don't like the fine print anymore, do you? |

Don't like the fine print anymore, do you? The spirit was I wasn't expected to pay for a beta. Well guess what, we are still in beta, and I want the full use I was promised when we finally leave. CCP played games in January. Now we have to ask exactly, so be it.
Every weapon/booster/item you used as a result of the Aurum or the items themselves from the merc pack provided some benefit and progression to your character that you aren't losing come "launch" or "commercial release" or whatever you feel the need to call it.
All those extra Skill Points you got from the boosters? Yea, those you get to keep. You can say you didn't want to pay for a beta, but everything is carrying over, so it's as if you paid for all this stuff in the launched version anyway, except you got a huge head start.
You should be thanking CCP for letting you keep the 11mil SP or whatever you have now. |

Alright let's get really technical then.
Quote:CCP cannot guarantee all items will be identical and reserves the right to substitute items of similar value
Enjoy as many copies of the Militia Nanohive BPO (9,800 Aur) as is needed to compensate for whatever Aurum equivalent is in the merc pack.

Asking CCP to uphold the deal they offer really shouldn't shock so many of you. It's hard to see things clearly when you're involved in a CCP bukkake party.
As opposed to an Imperfects one, right? |
